Lasagna dip

In my never-ending quest for new summer meal options I remembered that I hadn’t cooked with ricotta cheese in a while. I came across this lasagna dip recipe and decided to try it. It’s not really very hot weather friendly, since it involves both simmering on the stove and turning on the oven. But it comes together quickly in one oven-safe skillet. The lack of noodles also makes it gluten-free.

Dipping into lasagna dip

I swapped out the ground beef for ground turkey. Next time I think I’d add some vegetables too. Vegetarian lasagna dip sounds good. I topped it with fresh basil and grated parmesan. Instead of a baguette, I dipped with dipper chips. Very classy, I know. I had the leftovers with a bun, like a sloppy sandwich.
